VISIONEERS

Visioneers is a non-profit organization based in Berlin, Germany.

Visioneers was open in 2015 intending to help refugees through organizing weekly activities such as sewing, music, community service, and sports. At Visioneers, refugees receive mentorship for emotional support, education, and much more.

             VISIONEERS EXPERIENCE

During my time at Visioneers, I taught English to refugees from the Middle East. I mostly did one-on-one since everyone understood English on different levels.

When I chose to work at Visioneers, I didn't know how much of an impact it would later have on me. From Visoneers, I gained life-lasting friends, I created relationships with my students; relationships that will always hold dear to my heart. It is not every-day we get to impact someone else's life and to know that I helped someone else other than myself has changed in many ways possible.

Because of my time at Visoneers, I've developed the want to go out there and be shoulder others can lean on. Because of my time at Visioneers, I want to give back, even more, each day!
